Lesson # 5----> Post your paragraph about one good dream and a bad dream.

Bad Dream

One time I had a dream that I didn’t like - it was evil. I died! I was walking with my family. Then a big hole appeared in the ground. We were going to our house. I fell in it and died. It closed exactly when I fell. It would never open, only like in 20 years, but since I didn’t have food, I didn’t live. Everybody was crying because I was so young. I did have chips and a juice that lasted one day. I was crying so much. People with jackhammers tried to open it, but it wouldn’t budge. Then after two days my spirit lifted to the sky.

Good Dream

Once I had a good dream. I saved a town and families. It was called River Town. One day my friend became evil. She knocked down buildings. She also put houses on fire. It was up to me - I was the only one that was safe. She also trapped people in cages. I then found out she had my mom too. I was so mad I bought things for superheroes. I called myself Jumbo J. Then my friend called and said, “You can save the town if you can save your mom.” Everybody was looking up to me. Then I found her and tried to save my mom. My friend had her controlled. Then, when she wasn’t looking, I gained control. I saved my mom and River Town. Everybody called me the hero. I was so happy that I saved the day.

Lesson # 2---->Post your paragraph explaining what type of shelter your model is, for what group it was designed and how it was built.

Iroquois Indians

I used many materials in my Iroquois shelter. First, I used a basket and some of the boxes that the light bulbs come in. The basket looked like the ones in the picture and the box looked liked the picture two. Then I used cotton balls and two little baskets. I used cotton as snow and the baskets were for show. Last, I used rocks and bamboo sticks. I used rocks and bamboo in bunches of sticks. Those are the materials that I used.

Native Americans

Native Americans

I chose to focus on Native Americans for this project. It was exciting to incorporate this theme into my language arts curriculum. Native Americans are discussed in our social studies, science, and reading programs. For example: The theme of the story dream wolf is about people living as one with animals in nature. The students seem to be intrigued by the way different Native American groups were able to survive on the natural resources around them. The theme opened up doors to many extension activities within other subjects.
The project is divided into six lessons, which will culminate in a class book. The lesson will show students various aspects of Native American life and culture.
The laptops will allow the ordinary lessons of the past to be transformed into lessons that the students will remember as they grow.
I hope it also makes the students appreciate all that they have and how easy life is today.
